I took a much needed trip to San Diego last weekend to clear my head and visit some friends.
It was quite the enjoyable trip, with mid-70s weather and a convertible Pontiac Solstice rental car which I drove with the top down the entire time. Yes, it was a gutless non-turbo automatic, but the warm air blowing by me made up for that.
On Sunday we drove up to the LA County Museum of Art to view some BMW Art Cars. These were BMWs painted by major artists like Andy Warhol and Robert Rauschenberg.
A quick dinner at Hurry Curry of Tokyo and we were back on our way home, luckily dodging Oscar-night traffic.
